Allied Health Services, Physiotherapist and Senior Rehabilitation Consultant
- Bachelor of Applied Science – Physiotherapy
- Registered Physiotherapist
- Neuro- Linguistic Programming Practitioner
Tim is an experienced Physiotherapist having worked in private practice prior to joining nb&a rehab.
Tim is committed to seeing the development of new and better ways to facilitate treatment for injured workers. Utilising his training by David Butler and the principles of Explain Pain, Tim has developed the contemporary, evidenced based, pain education program, Freedom to Move. Together with Simon Hynes, Tim has also been invited by David Butler to be one of a handful of Physiotherapists to participate in a trial of a new model of treatment management titled ‘The Health Performance Programme’.
Utilising this knowledge and experience, Tim applies a strategic approach to the rehabilitation and medical expert services he provides. Motivating, challenging and guiding injured workers, while also holding them accountable to agreed activities and plans, is an area that Tim is particularly astute in. He has a demonstrated ability to listen carefully while he is also able to sense injured worker’s underlying emotions during discussions of difficult topics. This enables Tim to maximise a workers capacity and achieve meaningful and sustainable return to work outcomes.
